LINCOLN, Nebraska, Dec. 1, 2015–Bidding opened Tuesday for a shoe from Valegro at the Las Vegas World Cup Final to benefit The Dressage Foundation’s Skvarla Fund for young dressage professionals.

The top bidder in the auction to run from Dec. 1 through Dec. 11 will receive Valegro’s shoe from the 2015 Las Vegas World Cup Final, a photo of Valegro autographed by Charlotte Dujardin and a Certificate of Authenticity from Carl Hester in a framed set.

The auction is online at www.32auctions.com/ValegroShoeTDF. Bidding is open to North American residents only.

Proceeds from the auction will support the Karen Skvarla Fund for Young Dressage Professionals that was created in 2014 by Diane Skvarla, in memory of her sister, Karen, a budding equestrian when she passed away in 1968 at the age of nine years. The fund provides grants to young dressage professionals to pursue training or educational opportunities.
